DX5e Adapter: For use when using the DX5e with the Phoenix Flight Simulator.

This is a Phoenix DX5e Adapter Cable. This adapter is for use with the earlier versions of the Spektrum DX5e transmitter that featured a trainer jack located on the left-hand side of the radio. The newest version of the DX5e that features a trainer jack on the back of the radio does not need this adapter.
